“Where it all comes together, turning the design vision into reality and ironing out the bumps along the way”

Examine the logistics

Project Management is the point of a project when we examine the logistics, pricing and complexity of the proposed works. Guide pricing will have been produced to provide an overall budget, but it is only when the extent of works is fully examined that we can obtain fully costed options from contractors and suppliers and build a timetable for the works to commence and the sequence of events to handover.

Keep your project on track

With fluctuating material prices the goal posts continue to move until final orders are placed and confirmed costs are agreed; the job of the Project Manager is to keep all parties aligned to complete the project on time and within budget.

Once orders are placed and the programme confirmed the Project Manager becomes solely responsible for regular progress checks with contractors, suppliers and keeping an eye on the readiness of the site to commence works and maintain the necessary impetus to complete the works. To achieve this we load all the key events and milestones onto a GANTT chart which plots progress and highlights any deficiencies or delays.

Where supply problems occur or unforeseen issues on site it is the Project Manager who will liaise with all parties to keep the project on track and minimize the delays and cost implications.
